Maternity Session, Mission Hills

This maternity session took place in the heart of Mission Hills at Brand Park Memory Garden. Parents to be were a former couple whose wedding I got to shoot just a couple years ago. Let me just say what a gift it is to be able to witness and photograph these moments in my clients’ lives!

This not so hidden gem of a park is located across the street from the San Fernando Mission. Often used for wedding and quinceañeras, it holds the perfect light to show off that baby bump.

During this Mission Hills maternity session, we focused on a mixture of gently guided portraits and natural interactions. Walking together, holding hands, slowing down, and simply taking in the evening allowed the session to feel effortless while still creating those beautiful portraits.
