Intimate Micro Wedding at Inn of the Seventh Ray

An intimate micro wedding at Ray of the Seventh Inn was perfect for Earl and Valerie. Located in Topanga and nestled in the Santa Monica Mountains, Inn of the Seventh Ray was the perfect venue for Earl and Valerie’s big day.

The day started off with their first look and a few minutes of couple’s portraits.

How They Met

Before their wedding at Ray of the Seventh Inn, Valerie and Earl met in Santa Monica while Valerie was with family. She had sworn off men but her best friend encouraged her to sneak out that night and mingle at a bar, lo and behold, they met Earl that night and started talking.

Valerie and Earl were so easy going and preferred to spend their day hanging out and lounging with their close family and best friends. They put a lot of thought about their micro wedding at Ray of the Seventh Inn. The micro wedding was for family and close friends but they held a reception on the following Saturday with the rest of their friends.

Their decor was understated and beautiful. Pops of pink, orange, and yellow paired beautifully with the lush greenery at Ray of the Seventh Inn. Floral arrangements were made by Earl’s mother. The rest of their family and friends helped set up their ceremony and reception area.

Valerie and Earl’s wedding felt like a reunion. They guests coming all over the country to witness their marriage. Ray of the Seventh Inn was a perfect venue for this intimate gathering.

One of the cutest parts of the day was realizing that Valerie and her mom unknowingly wore the same shoes, in different colors.

Their reception followed soon after their ceremony without a long cocktail hour. Everyone sat nearby and laughter and drinks filled the air.
